David Richard, Sr. is a bonafide foodie and accomplished entrepreneur hailing from the culinary mecca that is New Orleans, Louisiana. With a genuine love for new adventures and all things culinary, David splits his time between New Orleans, Rosemary Beach, and Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
It’s in partnership with his longtime friend, Chef Catherall, that you’re able to enjoy a night out at Aja 30A. David's energetic spirit and penchant for enjoying the finer things in life are at the heart of Aja's ambiance. He believes in the balance between hard work and treating oneself, a philosophy that resonates throughout your experience at Aja.

Chef Tom Catherall
At age 15, Certified Master Chef Tom Catherall’s passion for culinary excellence began during his apprenticeship at Newcastle's Royal Turks Head Hotel. With a career spanning over several decades, he reshaped Atlanta's dining scene, founding iconic restaurants like Azalea, Tom Tom’s, and Twist, among others.
From 1996 until 2014, he operated his Here to Serve Restaurants group and curated 12 unique dining concepts across 15 Atlanta locations, leaving an indelible mark. A Certified Master Chef, his legacy extends to Rosemary Beach's Lola Coastal Italian and most recently, Aja 30A which boasts a menu of elevated Asian cuisine.
Chef Catherall's journey is a testament to culinary innovation, leadership, and enduring influence. Through years of dedication and a relentless pursuit of perfecting his craft, Chef Tom's remarkable talents have been recognized with a string of prestigious accolades.
